Inside Donald Trump's 757
When you're Donald Trump, you need to have a plane to match your larger-than-life personality. In this case, that plane is a 757. His new ride sits 43, has a 16-hour flying range and is powered by Rolls Royce engines. To give a bit of a comparison, a typical 757 seats 186 to 289 passengers and the seatbelts and other accessories are not 24k gold plated. (Shocker, we know.) Other notable features? A 57" TV in the "media room", a DVD storage system of 1,000 movies, Trump's personal DVR, a private master suite for Trump and a guest suite with a full bed, bathroom and more.
According to BTJ Online, Trump selected the aircraft because he "always felt the [Boeing] 757 was the best looking of all the commercial planes."
The plane is about twice the size of his 727 and, although he's not disclosing price, rumor is the plane was bought for around $100 million from Microsoft's Paul Allen.

Such jealously , funny and sad, i bet you would know how to better spend the money he's earned, maybe he should check with you,,,

Laura,
You are completely correct on your statement. Although to a certain extent I do agree with you, however as one of the people who responded pointed out it his money.
Besides he purchased this 757 Plane so it does not look like he is avoiding his share of the taxes by receives a tax credit for owning a jet. So it makes him look like he pays taxes, wait GE owns part of NBC and Trump works for NBC.
In the end it is about him giving off the illusion THAT HE DOES NOT GET THE TAX CREDIT FOR JETS. now that being said.
This is a good way to show he is not in touch with 92% of Americans and how his casinos in Atlantic City had to File Bankruptcy. Ever wonder why he has not opened a Casino in Las Vegas? He built a Tower of Expensive Condos but not a Casino. Must Mean Nevada Gaming Commission will not give him a Gaming License.
So always remember it was his FATHERS MONEY he is spending he did not earn a single dime. Do wonder why he works for NBC? He borrowed money to build casinos then he defaulted on the loans. (does this sound familiar to you? Hint Republican and the Tea Party)
Let me remind everyone Casinos are Designed to take your money. Yeah their are big winners, but how many compared the the millions and billions LOST at Casinos. So how come his Casinos in Atlantic City filed for Bankruptcy? Ge watch the Video So all the Bling, Bling.
So why does anyone listen to him to start with? That is very big Question.

I guess you don't care about all the jobs that are created in fitting out this aircraft? His wealth creates jobs .. when he spends it .. jobs are created .. people who work get paid .. and even when he has money in the bank .. that creates jobs too because the banks give out loans to other people based on holding his money.

Trump bought it second hand from Paul Allen for $100 million. That Allen guy is sharp.
The 757 has been out of production since October 2,004. It's obsolete.
Allen sold Trump an obsolete used plane for $100 million.

He is one of the dirt bags trying to get the retirement age raised yet again and to stop earned benifits for our nations elderly. Yet he actually pays very few taxs himself. Shame on him. Let the boy fly couch. America is tired of doing without so lazy fast talking suits can get a free ride gravy train from Americas impoverished overworked elderly. God Bless America. In God We Trust.

It's Trump's own money or what he inherited from his father, point is someone in the family made the money, it wasn't confiscated from us under threat of serving jail time if we don't comply like our taxes are - (all that probably cost less than Obama's vacations which was OUR money.) Stop being so jealous. You don't like it? Get innovative and start your own business. So far it's still possible.

Actually, it's the money from all the vendors and investors he's stiffed. Donald goes on TV and has Madison Avenue promote him so that he can keep a steady flow of suckers coming.

THATS FOR SURE..THINK OF ALL THE GOOD THAT COULD BE DONE WITH THAT MONEY..
BUD Aug 19th 2011 4:11PM
AND TRUMP PAID FOR IT WITH HIS OWN MONEY. UNLIKE obummer WHO CONTINUES TO WASTE TAXPAYERS MONEY ON FRILLS FOR HE AND HIS FAMILY. NOW WE HAVE THE "BIG BLACK FUNKY BUS" THAT DOES NOT STOP IN ANY NEIGHBORHOODS. obummer WAS WARNED THAT THE PISSED OFF BLACK PEOPLE WOULD THROW EGGS, ROCKS, AND BRICKS AT THE NEW "FUNKY BUS" IF HE CAME TO THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD. obummer's LATEST SPIN AROUND THE COUNTRY WAS CALLED, "THE THROW AMERICA UNDER THE BUS TOUR". WHAT A SLIME.

It takes 11,489 gallons of jet fuel to fill-up that plane or $45,956 USD to fly it to the Trump Wind Powered golf course in Ireland one way. Or more carbon footprints than if the Donald walked there on the bottom of the Atlantic ocean with the pilots and crew. I don't think the stewardesses play wind powered golf, though....Al-

Boeing builds the best airliners there are, but the 757-200 (one Donald has) went out of production in October 2,004 (they are no longer made). Basically, it's second hand, previously owned (or used, not new). The control surfaces, wings, etc. are 6 or more years old. I wouldn't fly in it, but it does have shiny gold plated seatbelt buckles that can be used as a signaling device to aid in rescue/recovery or for trade with natives on tropical islands....Al-

Suck it up folks! Mr Chapter 11 handed you part of the bill!
gilruth Aug 18th 2011 11:42PM
so what is he in chapter11 now. you looking at a billion or better for this airplane
Al Schrader Aug 19th 2011 5:04PM
I wanted to go to the Trump Wind Powered golf course in Ireland, but I can't deal with all of those propellers. And now they say there's this big lumbering noisey jet hovering around looking for lost golf balls. That's too much stress for me.
I'm looking to Lee Travino's La Cita course. It's quieter and has American beer...Al-

I see this and then I see the starving children in Somalia
It would be nice if he filled this plane completely full of
water and food and flew it over there.
