No it would not. Texas wouldn't even come close to making the list even if it was a country by itself. Greenland is bigger than Texas and yet has less people than a suburb of Houston. If you understand Math then you would realize that Texas would have to lose over 90% of it's population to get anywhere close to the sparse denisity of places like Greenland.

Who mentioned Texas??? Texas population density 96.3 psm = 10 times the population density of Canada (second largest country in the world btw).
Canada is MUCH larger than USA, but has the population of California.
My math is fine thank you. And as my geography is also fine, obviously I am not from Texas.(no offense to those Texans who actually know geography) Good luck with both and please enjoy the rest of your summer.
