How to choose a reputable adventure travel company or guide

Hi there, this article came to me and i wanted to respond. We run Swimming adventure holiday company in Europe and safety is our No.1 priority. If we fail here, we are out of business next day. One thing I'd like to say here regarding travel insurance policies. This is coming straight from my experiences. We work with open water swimmers from all around the world and one of our trip requirement’s is to bring your own travel insurance that covers "adventure sports" in our case open water swimming. Warning here! There are many holes and selling points on the market by insurance companies and our guests come to our trips with inadequate insurance policies and they aren’t aware of it. In most cases they are covered for outdoor activities but the list does not include open water swimming. If something happens, insurance company is not liable to cover anything because you were in the water swimming! So, pay attention (depending on what adventure business your run) what kind of policies clients bring to your tours! This is to get you out of trouble and to cover your valuable guests.
