Win a Two-Night Trip to Texas with this Traveling the American Road Giveaway

As much as it pains me to write, my road trip across the country will soon come to a close. But it's not too late for you to get in on one of the many prizes I've been giving out along the way. To go out with a bang, I'm giving away a free trip for two to Texas, in partnership with Texas Tourism.
One winner will get a two-night trip for two to Wildcatter Ranch, set on 1,500 picturesque acres of North Texas hills, about 90 miles northwest of Fort Worth. You and a guest will enjoy two nights at the ranch, including breakfast and dinner in their award-winning steakhouse, your choice of a massage or facial, plus a variety of activities such as horseback riding, skeet shooting, archery and ATV tours. All you have to do is get yourself to Texas, and AOL and I will take care of the rest.
To enter, just leave a comment below telling us your favorite part of my Traveling the American Road trip. You've got until 11:59 p.m. on August 10 to leave your comment. After that, we'll randomly select a winner from the entries. Oh, and if you need to catch up on all my travels, you can do that at travelingtheamericanroad.com. You can also see the full terms and conditions of the contest here.
Good luck, future road trippers. If you want a head start on planning your trip to Texas you can grab a guide here.

My favorite part of your road trip so far was your recap of Savannah. I've never been, but always wanted to go. And that post made me want to visit even more!

As a frequent visitor to Raleigh, I really enjoyed the appreciation you showed for one of my favorite places. With tons of things to do, an affordable cost of living, great climate and great people, that area of North Carolina is overlooked as a wonderful place to live or visit

My favorite is the Richard Petty Driving Experience! My husband and father-in-law did that, and I got to watch and take pictures. We all had an awesome time! I know they'd love to do it again!

During the Olympics the plane I was on made a stop in Atlanta, Georgia before continuing the flight to Orlando. I saw so many Olympic athletes in the airport that day but it was the one and only time I have ever been to Georgia. Therefore, "Atlanta, an Olympic City 15 Years Later" was the piece that stood out to me the most because it brought back many memories and now I am really excited to return there myself.

As a Canadian resident, I find it fascinating learning about parts of American culture from your point of view. I also really appreciate how how you've managed to mix in historical aspects along with pop culture phenomenons such as Walt Disney World and baseball. I can only imagine how much work has gone into this. All that planning! Congratulations on your journey thus far! I look forward to learning much more.
Warmest wishes,
Stephanie Dickison

My favorite part was the shuttle launch and space coast. My favorite article was your tips on last minute hotel booking, I've been in that situation on road trips tons of times and it was all good advice.

Out to the ballgame. I'm not a big fan of baseball either, and went to my first game in the new Yankees stadium last weekend. Seeing the old mixed in with the new was great
