Stupidity and Dogma are synonymous. Here are some examples:
"Planes need to be made of iron in order to support people. Iron is too heavy. Planes will never fly"
"A man cannot run faster than x amount of x of yards in one minute"
"A man cannot lift more than x amount of weight"
Just because they have been unable to make a particle go faster than the speed of light doesn't mean that it can't be done. Edison tried 10,000 times to create the light bulb until he finally succeeded. He never gave up.
Either they eat egg drop soup with too much MSG at that university or they are trying to hide something to make such an outrageous claim!
