Video of the Day: Pan to the head
This video is baffling. It's a group of Brits on a camping trip, yet it appears as if they have just set up camp in someone's backyard (isn't that a house behind the fence?). Why is that guy hitting the other guy in the head with a pan? What's the deal with that second fence made of fabric? We might have more questions than answers, but summer is for camping trips and camping trips are for drunken hijinks*.
So, let's not spend too much time figuring out what the hell is going on here and simply enjoy the fact that there's more to life than videos of people at Renaissance fairs getting hit in the crotch.
* Please drink responsibly and away from cookware.

Appears to be a campground. Look at the background and you will see other "caravans" and stakes out for sites.

I can't explain the pan, but I can explain the fabric fence!
We brits are hardy souls, and won't let a little thing like gale-force winds get in the way of our beach holidays. The fabric fence is a windbreak, and is basically a tarpaulin stretched between 5/6 spiked poles, which can be easily driven into sand/soil with a mallet or rock, to give a little bit of privacy, and shelter from the wind.

Thanks, Freddie...who knew!? Apparently you did!

haha I may have the answers to all your questions... this is my video!! Can't believe you've posted it on your blog and made it video of the day :) thank you!! The video features my boyfriend (the hitter!) and his brother (the receiver, for want of a better word!). It is actually a proper campsite down in Sennen, Cornwall and as you can tell from the weather we had to find other ways to amuse ourselves... this was the result! And as Freddie has explained above yes that is a wind break and the house-like building behind is the toilet block... very sophisticated! hope you all enjoy the video and have a brilliant British style summer xxx

Kirsty, thanks for the back story! Sounds like you turned some horrible weather into an amusing holiday...well done! Glad you found us and we're glad you found that pan!
