Just so everyone knows, South Of The Border has been in business since 1950, at a time when there was no such nonsense as Political Correctness, and Pedro, for the first 40 years, rather well matched the Hollywood image of the Sombrero-wearing Mexican bandido. That little bit of the country's culture still exists, while a lot of our nation's common sense has taken a siesta, so Pedro and the whole resort comes off more as nostalgic than authentic, but it is still a fun stop worth making along I-95.
