I remember going there as a kid, in the 1950s and even meeting Phil Rizzuto, as he was on his way to spring training. Several years ago, driving south with my own children, we decided to stop and we were reminded that it was as schlocky a place as could every be found. Still, it makes for a distance marker...all those reminders how many miles until you get there.

Try Sleepy Bear's Campgroung at I 95 exit 17. A nice place with a pool, miniture golf and real frendly staff.
