The outer Banks are horrible. It's a terrible mosquito and black fly infested strip of wasteland that is constantly being either rained upon or torn up from north easterly storms. The food is horrible, the people are horrid. It's hard to get to, hard to get out of, nothing to do, no where to shop, nothing to buy. Fish don't even swim along the shore but divert waaaaaaay out in the ocean just to by pass it and go to Myrtle Beach or Va. Beach. Do yourself a favor and never and I mean neeeeeever go to that godforbidden place !!!!!!!!! Really, it's just terrible awful. it stinks too.

Folks usually find what they are looking for. Look for nice people and you will find them, look for horrid people and you will find those too. Ditto with food, water, the weather, etc.
