I can't get away but I kept in touch with my niece and her boyfriend while they were in Aspen recently. She sent pictures and kept me up on all their fun.

i would love to keep in touch with my dads side of the family who all leave in the Azores. I haven't seen them since i was 10 yrs old and its rare for me to hear from them by phone because international calling is not cheap. If I had the iPad I could connect with them through Skype, Facebook, Tumblr, all those great social networking sites, seeing as I have no laptop to do all this :/

I would keep all my Facebook imaginary friends who grow imaginary crops and build imaginary homesteads and bake imaginary treats up to date with my whereabouts so they too can be a part of my travels.

While we are gone I text my kids and grandkids - play Words with Friends on my IPOD and use hotel computers to stay in touch. An IPAD would make my life so much easier to keep in touch :-)
