Video of the Day: Driving in hail
Summer is a great time for road trips and spending time outdoors. Unfortunately, soaring temperatures and humidity also bring some pretty dramatic weather. In this video, people are caught driving around in golf ball-sized hail. Sadly, the person who posted the video failed to include the location in the description. From the sounds of the hail hitting the car, however, we can at least be certain that some damage was being done.
Enjoy your summer travels but always be sure to check the weather forecast before you leave the house. Sometimes a shield might be better than an umbrella!

WOAH that was amazing! I've never seen golf-ball sized hail in all my life. I feel bad for anyone caught outside in it!

I wouldn't be surprised, if it was filmed in South Carolina, because we had hail not too long ago. If I wasn't mistaken the voice sounded Southern, too. Definitely not cool to get cars and houses damaged.

Its a Look Like a Extremely Thriller, Small hail just pull over Large hail stop and get out of the car but put something durable over your neck!!

This person seems to fairly well prepared with camera in hand and and a large truck to believe he was "caught" in this storm. A better guess would be he saw the storm coming, grabbed his camera, jumped in his truck and had some footage to post on the internet.

Wow, finally a tornado that resembles the one in The Wizard of OZ ! The Chickasha torndo weaves back and forth and plows everything ahead of it like the tornado in the movie.

It hailed here in Lafayette Louisiana yesterday, not that size but it did hail,,,,,,,,,,,I think unless he had a OLD truck there is no way in hell I would had my truck out in that kind of hail,,,,,,,,,no picture is worth all the dents and possible glass breakage.
