SEALs don't really need the recognition, I mean that they prefer to remain anonymous for security reasons. Their satisifaction is internal. They are proud that they can do a good job for their country. And that is enough for them. There are people in the upper levels of government who know what they do and the SEALs get there satisfaction by knowing that their superiors know they do good work. I am sure they are equally appreciative of our good wishes and prayers and accolades for them-that just icing on the cake.
