Judgement Day passes, world did not end, travel safe for most
Saturday May 21st was Judgement Day signaling the end of the planet Earth according Family Radio's Harold Camping who said that the Bible guaranteed it. Here now on Sunday we see that the world is still spinning and there are few signs of it's end. But while some weather-related events did occur, the end of the world does not appear to be imminent. The U.S. Geological Survey reports a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck near New Zealand's Kermadec Islands. Camping had predicted that 'Rapture' would begin with an earthquake in New Zealand.
Also, a magnitude 3.6 quake hit the San Francisco Bay Area at 7:05 p.m. local time on Saturday but emergency officials said there were no reports of serious damage or injury.
The best possible evidence for believers in the "end of the world" scenario came from Iceland.
"The ash is covering up all of Iceland," Hjordís Gudmundsdottir, a spokeswoman for Isavia, Iceland's air navigation services provider told the New York Times. "We are trying to identify some holes in it and to use them to allow some flights, but it's not looking very good right now."
The strong eruption sent ash into the second layer of Earth's atmosphere, the Stratosphere where it can be carried around the globe, blocking out light and creating flight risks for air travelers.
As for Harold Camping and his thoughts? Hard to say. The self-proclaimed prophet was silent on Judgment Day, staying at home with the shades drawn.

I am very sad for those who have been following this lie that the rapture was to occur on May 21st. Hopefully, they should now admit that “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven nor the Son, but only the Father” (Mark 13:32). Every Christian, theologian, scholar, and prophet from the first Century until the Nineteenth Century all believed that the church would go through the Great Tribulation and not escape through some secret rapture that would leave the world completely paralyzed. I pray that they now will take a moment and read through my book, “Final Warning” to help them to stand firm in their faith because the hour of is His judgment has come. http://www.revelation-truth.org

I dont understand why people say they things they do about the words of God and the ending. What we should be doing is just what Gods words tell us to do,be ready at all times and live as he has taught us thriough his son Jesus.I think of all the money that has been spent on this forest of lies and the children that died of hunger while everyone or should i say many follow a nut case like Harold Camping.I do not have any hatred towards the man,but the bible tells us of people that will do things like he has done and it has always told us not any man woman or child knows when the last day will come.If ther son of God doesnt even know when his father will send him why would anyone believe anyone else?I would give anything to have the money spent on this to have been able to help the poor that need it so badly and now look at all the wastful speanding that has taken place.I guess he or someone else will soon say o i made a mistake i didnt see this or that in Gods words, dont believe any of it,just live right and always be ready and learn how to edify one another and make this world a better place until that day comes and the end is here.I had ask many of Harold Campings followers to sign over everything they owned to me on may 21 and you know what, not one would responed and that speaks for itself. Some people like myself really want to make a differance in the lives of others and people like these over shadow ones like myself that would honestly do some good with all the wasted money on things like this.God will send back his son Jesus when he is good and ready and not before and not anyone on earth will ever kniow when that days going to be.Harold willett Haroldwillettministries.org.

The world will end when one dies. No one can predict that and only God knows. Everyone that feeds humanity with lies and special knowledge they have about God are false prophets and they are dammed for it. This man who predicted this is no longer in God's favor but Satan. For him and his followers it is the end of the world.

God created us was a "free will" that gives every person the ability to love or not love him, to obey or not obey him. Adam and Eve exercised their freedom which resulted in a corrupted world.
