The U.S. policy has been complete silliness from the start. If this ban had not been in place, Castro would not currently be in power. The U.S. policy (driven by the Miami Cuban mafia) has made Castro the figure he is today.

We have never had this policy against any other country. During the height of the the Cold War, a U.S. citizen could travel to China, The Soviet Union, etc., but not Cuba -- because apparently they are the scariest and biggest threat to us in the WORLD!!!!

Technically, a U.S. citizen can travel to Iran or N. Korea

Open the door the rest of the way and watch what happens.
