*Breaking* St. Louis airport damaged and closed by tornado

The historic Lambert Field in St. Louis was damaged by an apparent tornado last night, wreaking havoc on the main terminal and disrupting operations. According to the Huffington Post, "The storm lifted the roof off Concourse C and sent plate glass flying everywhere. Four people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after glass shattered as the storm hit."All inbound flights were diverted, while operations ground to a halt internally. As of this morning, no flights are operating in or out of the airport.
If you happen to be flying through Lambert Field this weekend, be sure to check your schedule for any cancellations.
Luckily nobody was fatally injured in the storm. Lambert Field, however, will remain indefinitely closed until repairs can be made.

To clarify, Southwest is the primary carrier at Lambert. I believe Delta is second and American is definitely third. Southwest operates out of terminal 2 (East Terminal) and sustained minimal damage. They hope to be operating possibly a few flights tonight. Most of the other airlines operate out of the main terminal, where the damage was sustained. Primary problem right now is clean up and restoring electricity.
Airport press conference scheduled for 3:30 pm CST. Check your airline before you go.

So much for those TSA pat-downs. Security goes out the window when
Mother Nature roars!

The video plainly shos that ir was definitely not a PANIC, but rather an orderly movement to safe areas.

WOW. I have flown into that airport so many times over decades to visit family. It's so strange to see it being hit by a tornado. But, kudos to the people there, it looks like everyone moved to safety as best as they could without trampling anyone.

That was one of the weakest videos I have ever seen, based on the link's "headline".....a waste of 2.5 minutes.

AOL---that was NOT panic as your headline implied. People handled the situation very well. Moving quickly and following orders is not panic.
You all gotta do better than that.

Are you sure President Obama wasn't responsible for this? The wackos like to blame everything else on him.
