Downhill bike race in Chile is insanity at its finest
I have seen insanity and it happens on the streets of Valparaiso, Chile. The Valparaiso Cerro Abajo Race is a legendary urban bike race and is more extreme than skydiving out of an exploding F-18 piloted by Charlie Sheen - while chugging a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. The rider must brave jumps, stray dogs, and flights of stairs along the steep downhill path. The first person perspective provided by the excellent helmet cam lets us take in every glorious and frightening detail. Do yourself a favor and watch this one in full screen mode.

All I can say is I couldn't stop thinking about that POOR DOG!! That's mean.
But awesome track, I'd do it if they were considerate and wouldn't put the dog in danger like that. The rider and animal could be hurt if something happened.

I don't know if I'm sad to see the Pro sponsorship from Cannondale & such at the grandstand; or happy that SA pros can ride at such a dangerous, extreme level More organized 'bike' races have a bit more MEDICAL support for the crashes which sure would burn these dudes...

This falls under the category of Extremely F**King STupid. If someone was injured or killed doing this, no one should come to their assistence as these
jerks deserve anything that happens to them. I wouldn't even pick up their bodies,
I would let the traffic turn them into a darkspot on the road.
