What great memories, The time when bunnies were classy and the world was Hughs to pick.
Our country is like this plane was in the 70's, down and out and being sold to foreign enterprises.
I miss the world, the people and the centerfolds.
I hope we can recover from this debt and become the free nation of people who can come up from nothing and build huge companys.

Yeah, so do I. But the republicans who destroyed this country over the last 40 years will make sure we never will. Especially since the fox news crowd keeps electing these freaks.

It is still entirely possible to "come up from nothing and build huge compan[ies]".
In fact, it is now easier than ever before to do so.
See:
Zuckerberg, Mark (Facebook, founded 2004; '09 rev = $ 800mil)
Huffington, Arianna (Huffington Post, founded 2005; sale to AOL pending at $ 315mil)
Mason, Andrew (Groupon, founded 2008; '09 rev = $ 760mil (est))
Hurley, Chad; Chen, Steve; Karim Jawed (YouTube, founded 2005; acquired in '06 for $ 1.65bil)
Those are just the first I thought of off the top of my head; there are hundreds, if not thousands, of similar, though less well-known (and probably of lower magnitude), stories.
A student of mine who was fresh out of college in the early '90s started at least 3 or 4 internet firms that I know of (there may be others I don't), any one of which could now be sold for 7 or 8 figures.
Anyone with a good idea and sufficient drive can accomplish this.
