Justin, please read my comment again. Note the unfairness of painting an entire county and region called "St. Louis" with this negative stuff when it only applies to an 8 square block area of a 66 square mile area of a county of 524 square miles and a region of 8700 square miles. If you have an email address I can send you some information. If you prefer, please go to this website and click on all the links at the top of the page. You will get my drift.

Thanks.

I was just citing the recent study to prove that I was not pulling the numbers out of the ether. As far as fact checking is concerned, I wanted to show I was citing an actual study. I am open to the notion that the study was unfair and paints St. Louis in an unfavorable light, but my point in the article was to show that Cancun is as safe as an average American city, which I believe St. Louis to be.
I think St. Louis is a great place. When I was researching MBA schools, I considered Olin in St. Louis because I genuinely like the city. I like the atmosphere and the sporting teams, and in general, feel that the region is a particularly pleasant stretch of our country.
I read your article on the website that you linked to me, and I enjoyed it. St. Louis is lucky to have a wonderful citizen such as yourself. Your cause is a noble one, and i wish you the best with it.
