It has finally happened – Virgin America is now officially coming to Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Last year, the airline announced they would start Chicago flights in “early 2011”, and they seem to have been able to keep that promise.
Flights will start on May 25 with the Chicago – LA and Chicago – San Francisco routes. To celebrate, Virgin America has teamed up with Groupon to sell $77 in airfare for $7. Normal fares on the routes will start at just $99.
With Gogo Inflight Internet on their entire fleet, innovative inflight entertainment and charming flight crews, it is pretty safe to say that flying in or out of O’Hare to LA or San Francisco will never be the same again.
Introductory fares start at $99 each way if you book by February 21. These fares are valid all summer long, and once you apply the Groupon deal, this means you can fly roundtrip to LA or San Francisco for just $128. Book flights here: Virgin America.
