Balanzza TRUCO luggage - world's first modular carry-on luggage solution

This morning, Balanzza announced their first piece of luggage. The company is better known for their products to weigh your luggage, but this experience obviously helped them design the first piece of modular luggage in the world.
The TRUCO is a three piece rolling suitcase, which can be separated into a rolling case, briefcase and compact tote. All three pieces connect to each other, and if you happen to find yourself face to face with a limited overhead storage bin, you simply disconnect the front and top bag, and place them under your seat.
The TRUCO is available today directly from Balanzza for $199. More photos of this smart piece of luggage are in the gallery below. We'll try and bring you a full review of it as soon as we can.

Interesting! Maybe in the future, if there is a demand for this product, the price may even come down a little.
Who knows?

Knowing the airlines they will charge people for three bags since you might unzip and separate the pieces on the plane. Gotta make sure they squeeze every nickel they can out of you.

Nice stuff...but can't compare with the travel luggage and case offererd by Porter Case of South Bend, IN (an American Company). Look them up especially if you regularly travel with cameras or computer equipment. Good luck.

Wel = hey = at least it is NOT made in China. And looks pretty sharp. I am not into $200 luggage, BUT may change on that! ALso - didn't Brazil used to make a lot of shoes (that, for some reason were finished-off in the US?) Looks like they may have a very good product here - of course, as with all luggage, it will have to pass the time and trips test! How well with it stand up?

Junk. Actually we don't know if it's junk. But I'm betting Aol got paid for this "fluff" piece. Wise up suckers. Whenever a PRODUCT is featured, it's paid for whether face creme or future suitcases.

I am a conveyor mechanic at major airports here in SF area and have done repairs all over the west coast. Two things to add. One. Buy luggage with all the wheels, handles, latches and catches that are "molded in" so that the bag is relatively smooth so if there is a small gap in the luggage system it will not hang up and tear your bag to shreads. Two. Never ever add things like pom poms, straps or other dangling things to your bags. I only add this because somebody has to remove all your dirty clothes etc from under the conveyor. I saw one airline baggage tunnel that had a full collection of underpants hanging from the electrical conduit etc.

The only problem for me on this Balanza and Porter luggage's are: they don't have 4 weels,so it will be to hard for me to pull it because I have Arthritis, other than that, the price is a little bit to high for that kind of economy.
