I stayed here back in 2009 and, while I didn't get to stay in this super-suite, I loved the hotel- the rooms are modern with asian touches and luxe bathrooms, the full floor spa is gorgeous (if a bit more expensive than the free standing spas in the city as it caters to the high end tourist crowd) and free rides around the financial district during business hours are a great perk, especially if working in the vicinity. As you mentioned above, the proximity to ultra-high end shopping (via the mall at Seasons Place) fantastic, and also in the vicinity is the trendy Whampoa Club restaurant (when I was at this restaurant, Armani Beijing was hosting an event in the restaurant's largest room). I covered the hotel on my blog: http://diary.thepurplepassport.com/beijing/hotels/rest-your-head-in-the-clouds-at-ritz-carlton-beijing-financial-street and also on my website http://www.thepurplepassport.com/picks/beijing/Hotel/ritz-carlton-beijing-financial-street/
Maybe next time I'll spring for the suite....right ;-)
