Remote controlled airplane shows New York City from an angle you've never seen before

New York CityTake one remote controlled airplane, a video camera strapped to the plane, and one New York City ground based pilot with extreme skills, and you end up with the video you see here.

The video was shot early in the morning, to avoid other air traffic. When the NYPD came to check out what was going on, they were remarkably calm about it, and turned out to be quite interested in the setup. Nobody was arrested, and the plane did not make the news as an attempted terror attack.

Words can't really explain how awesome this clip looks - so sit back, relax and see for yourself just how fantastic the flight turned out. For more on the flight, and the people behind it - check out this article at ARS Technica.
