Photo of the Day (11.30.10)
India is the seventh largest country by geographical area and with a population of 1.18 billion people, it's the second most populous nation in the world. With such an immense concentration of people, unique languages, and religious practice, India has a well known reputation for being a little chaotic at times.
I love this photo for the symbolic dichotomy of chaos; masses of people on the streets and a frightening tangle of wire strung up in between crowded buildings. It's almost as if the wires are delicately holding the buildings together as the crowd bustles, unaware. The photo was captured by Flickr user Trent Strohm in the crowded lanes of Old Delhi.
Have you gotten lost among the crowd in a foreign place? Send us your pictures! Submit to our Flickr group and it may be selected as our next Photo of the Day.

India is fantastic, though it's overcrowded but still the pleasure of wandering Indian streets is undoubtedly an unusual experience. Talking about the Capital, New Delhi, it's the place where top international brands can be enjoyed and witnessed at varied nooks and corners of the city. Although, one can explore the real India at few specific places. In India, I preferred taking the assistance of a travel agent than juggling around by myself. Wherever you go, streets are not only filled with vehicles and traveling machines but also by infinite people. However, it's a fun loving country where people are amicable and amazing, they speak different languages, apart from English and that really made me shocked when I got to know that many internal languages in India are actually more in count in comparison to the prominent languages being spoken across the planet.
