Disguised Asian stopped in Vancouver -- best disguise ever
Remember a few years back when you watched Mission Impossible III and Tom Cruise kept pulling off layer after layer of his secret masks to reveal a different identity? That stuff was all make believe, right? Right?Well, that technology might be closer than we all thought. Canadian authorities are investigating a recent case where a young Hong Kong citizen boarded a flight bound for Vancouver disguised as an elderly Caucasian man. He made it through security with a fake passport and mask, boarded the aircraft and got away with the whole deception, until passengers and staff got wise onboard.
Apparently, the passenger (whose motives are still unclear) visited the lav during the flight and magically transformed from an elderly white man with "very young hands" to an early-twenties Asian -- at which point passengers got suspicious. Upon arrival in British Columbia he was detained by the Canadian authorities.
The fact that he got away with the entire charade is in and of itself remarkable, especially considering the advanced screening technology that airport security now employs. But looking at his photo as profiled by CNN, could you tell the difference?
Here's a tip for next time though, would be counterfeiter: change your shirt.

that was before the government deported all American manufacturing jobs to other nations and employed citizens of other nations so they could buy houses and food and have medical insurance everywhere in theworld but the USA. At the same time the government deported our jobs they imported 30 milliobn illegals to come here illegally as criminals and said don't worry the taxpayers won't mind housing you feeding you and educateing all you criminals. The y will alll be loseing thier taxpayers homes and it really doesn't matter to us these criminal trespassers have rights. We the government do not have to represent the American taxpayers at all. Then they looked at the American taxpayers and said (HA,HA, HA, SUCKERS) vote for me!!!! And guess what you get no cost of living raise either you don't need it onl;y the privelidged members in society do....

Yes, KLEE! Also, another mistake. You said worst instead of worse. We all make mistakes when we are in a hurry. But, yes there are many people who need to brush up on their grammar. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! TGIF!!

why would he change midflight? MIght as well keep the disguise on until, you know, he gets somewhere a little more private.

Why did he take the mask off on the flight? The whole plan was brilliant, but the common sense is lacking. Why not wait til you touch down to take off the mask? I like his style, but he needs to keep working on his craft.

On 11/2 (Tuesday) I flew from Sai Gon (now Ho Chi Minh) through Hong Kong back to the U.S. At both airports all passengers were subjected to secondary screening prior to boarding the plane. We were told this was at the request of TSA, which must have had some credible intel on Asian originating flights. Nobody was happy--passengers or the foreign security personnel. Examination was cursory and quick and I suspect that was because we had all been screened alweady. Maybe this young man was the beneficiary of foriegn security officers' disdain for TSA's "meddling" in their bailwick. At any rate his disguise looks good in the photo and I suspect he would have pulled it off if he'd waited just a few more hours to clear customs. As to Jordan's spelling........most people misspell and misuse their native tongue with such regularity that it seems useless to try to correct the problem in our comments here. Just sayin....lol
