I gotta agree with most, even to certain degree the eiffel tower, though as a BIG Paris fan I cringed on my first read. however, one should go up it once, well bc its the eiffel tower, but after that, theres no need to go up. Its so much more gorgeous starting at it in person.
stonehenge makes me sad -- such an iconic part of our world and ruined by rules and highways
leaning tower of pisa -- I don't know, I think if you are visiting in italy, you should go visit it!
I would add Montreal. Why bother? its JUST another city. People will rave about "vieux Montreal" (Old Montreal), yea not that exciting. Instead, drive the extra 3 hours and go to Quebec City if you want a true European feel.
