April said...
I had no idea how much I loved someone till they were gone. My husband was there for me through thick and thin, the good the bad the ugly and the uglier. He cared for me no matter what I did. Having been abused as a child, I thought for sure he would leave me so I decided that I would hurt him before he had the chande to hurt me. After 40 years, I realized he loved me unconditionally and always would. We renewed our vows in Jamaica after 39 years and on Jan 17 we celebrated 40 years. I loved him more than the day I married him. He was killed instantly in a tractor accident on April 3. There is nothing worse than a broken relationship that you don't have a chance to make right, no I'm sorry's, no last I love you's nothing, no chance to say anything not even goodbye. I wished I'd have known all these years how much he really loved me. How sad.
