I would use it camping on Kelley's Island in Lake Erie - the wind off the lake can be very cold this time of year!

PERFECT to slip this "football" sized sleeping bag into the saddlebags on my motorcycle and head up into the Catskill Mountains and the Adirondacks! Camped at the base of Hunter Mt. last Saturday night and it hit about 30 degrees. Made it through the night ok, but this bag would be PERFECT and get me through even 10 to 15 degree cooler nights...

I would use this on those cold winter nights when my wife has locked me out of the house and the car's so low on gas that I can't run the heater all night.

I'll be using it for an annual camping trip that I take with my godparents and 6 year old godson. It gets snowy and cold in Northern California and it would keep me warm at night! With everyone and everything packed into the car the compactability of this sleeping bag is a great feature.

I would first use it on my back deck on a very cool crisp fall night in Indiana.

I vote for the Omega convertible since it has the "fast-pack" option and its a little cheaper. Its hard to say though without knowing what area you will be using it in, and I assume you will be backpacking.
