The sexiest city in the United States is ...

Don't waste your time looking at the coasts, if you have a map in front of you. And skip the big cities and clichés – you won't find Las Vegas at the top. Austin, Texas is the sexiest city in the country according to a survey by Men's Health Magazine. A number of factors contributed to the win, including birth rates, condom sales and the rate of STDs ... not to mention sex toy sales.

Texas came out looking pretty good, with Dallas, Houston and San Antonio also getting props behind winner Austin. In all, seven of the 15 sexiest cities were in Texas. It must be the heat, because colder cities didn't fare as well. It isn't hard to be too sexy for Portland, Maine, which finished last, and Burlington, Vermont.

Some of the likely suspects failed to deliver. Vegas came in at #70, with New York following at #73. San Francisco was #74, with Miami #88.

I think this list is wrong. I consider whatever city I'm in to be the sexiest city in the states.

The person who reviewed the article got its true meaning completely wrong. It is not a list of the country's "sexiest" cities, it is a list of the country's most "sex-happiest" cities. It has nothing to do with how the population looks. It's the city's attitude about sex and how often they have it. Because trust me, Arlington Texas was included in the Top 10 and there is nothing sexy about that town.

This is a misnomer here folks. They mean the most sexualy active cities. counting all the condom sales, sex toy sales and the degree of STD reported. Give us a break. all the nosie is stupid. The fattest city is based up the number of people enrolled in Fitness Gyms and the number of Fitness Gym (commerical types) around the area, bicycle paths available, parks and recreational areas. If the city or county is the funding agency the your city may just end up being the fattest around. Men's Health Magazine is trying to get subscription increases and are being outrageous at the same time. Bury not buy this magazine

I wonder where my hometown of Milwaukee ranked. I lived there the first 35 years of my life. Had I not married a girl from New York I would have probably remained a virgin.

DAVE WESTRAY: I have been to Austin many times and I would agree with you. Have you ever been to Hippy Hollow on Lake Travis? I took my wife there and she was appalled. She's a blue-blood, upstate New Yorker who isn't very open minded when it comes to sex and nudity.

There were naked people all over, mostly exhibitionists. One tall black guy was sitting on a rock, as if posing, with his humungous member dangling in the breeze....as if to say, 'hey, girls/guys, look at me and my big one.'

I'll take an old-fashioned girl any day; one who has had a limited number of sex partners. In fact, I'll take an Old Fashioned, period.'

What a farce! How can the author-- and more importantly the person analyzing the data --pretend this is not a direct result of the outrageous number of anchor babies from parents who are poverty stricken illegal aliens??? Rocket Scientry??? Who would have ever imagined, using the above stated criteria, that many of these cities would be found in Texas!?? Get a clue!

Ok, so, i live in Austin and i get how Austin can be mentioned, but to be no.1 here is a joke... a total joke... Straight & reasonably attractive women in Austin are notoriously disinterested in sex.... But what's really F'd up here, is that Dallas and Houston are mentioned ! Houston particularly is 1 of the biggest crapholes in the US ! Seriously, if it can be mentioned, then why isnt Compton !? There are virtually no SWF's in the city at ALL !
