I am living now little more than a year on Bali and really enjoy every day ... Just not time enough as I have been building my house first to live here comfortable enough and now build next to it some vacation rental units so i can make a living out of it once finished (www.villabalipassion.com).
The 10 things proposed are a good base but sure yes, there is a lot more to do in and around Bali .... easy 4-6 weeks could normally not be enough even to have a good total impression of Bali, its nature and all the aspects of the tradition of the local people with especially all the Hindu ceremonies.
