Keep a small trash bag in the car - Road trip tip

On road trips, dedicate a small bag to trash.

Even people who normally do not eat or drink in the car will likely do so when driving all day long, and the trash piles up quickly.

Bonus points for a separate recycling bag.

The trash bag in the car is an excellent idea--especially with children!!! I am looking for ideas for a four day bus trip to Laughlin. Will check one small bag but will have another carry-on for necessities for the day long bus travel. Including meds, personal hygiene supplies, snacks, water, and reading material. We are a couple travelling together. Does anyone have any other ideas of necessities that I would find useful but not take up too much room--my bag is nearing capacity!!!
