Paragliding donkey stunt lands Russian beach operators in hot water
In this viral video day and age, people will try anything to get some attention. Some may lip sync behind their webcam, others strap a donkey to a parachute and parade the poor animal up and down their beach while being towed by a boat.
You really can't make this stuff up, and despite the animal cruelty involved, none of the people on the beach did anything to stop the stunt, and all stood around watching the screaming animal fly into the sky.
The operators of the beach used the donkey as a way to bring some new tourists to their location on the Azov Sea near the village of Golubitskaya. According to local authorities, the men behind the stunt could end up in jail for up to two years.

Uhh, not much they can do when the donkey is in the sky and the boat is in the ocean.
As far as the video goes and people standing around... this is Russia, you would get your ass kicked to the moon if you interfered. Granted, later on the police would figure out who was right and who was wrong, but you'd probably be in a hospital.

They could have called the cops. Instead, the animal flew around for over half an hour.

I agree, Scott. It's a shame on humanity when someone is being tortured and people just stand around and gawk, or film. They could have easily called the cops, and the reaction was to watch and tell the news??

Azov Sea near the village of Golubitskaya.
To Whom it may concern,
After watching the outrageous video of a scared and helpless donkey being forced to paraglide, I have decided to never visit yourr vacation areas. I shall also be suggesting that American tourists do not patronize Golubitskaya or ANY beachh areas on the Azov sea.
The fact that your people, and tour operators were laughing loudly as the animal was jerked into the air while braying in fear is simply SICKENING.
Thanks,
