Daily Pampering: Vertu Signature $15,000 cell phone

Vertu's Signature Pure Black is specially handcrafted with the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technique that is currently being used in watches. The PVD process is used to vaporize a block of Titanium Carbide at extremely high temperatures using a plasma beam in a vacuum chamber resulting in an extremely rugged surface.
Those in the know say this phone is simply impossible to scratch. I say, for a retail price around $15,000, I'll take their word for it.

Got my phone for twenty bucks at the dollar store.
It seems to work fine.
For fifteen grand that phone should come with lips.

Give me a break! For that price, it better clean the house, wash the dishes, do the laundry, etc etc etc. Oh it doesn't? No thanks! I'll stick with my Storm2 and when I break it, I will just call the insurance company and have it replaced. I can find better things to spend $15,000 on...like a new car or a college fund for my kids!!! The list is endless. LOL

William, when you become an adult and get a job and have to pay your hard earned money on your possesions, you will think twice before wasting it on items like this phone. Get a life, better yet, GET A JOB!

Look at it this way once you buy the phone you won't have to pay a phone bill, because you can't afford to have it turned on.

another ridiculous GADLING ad... how much are they paying you to put this crap up on your site?

I dont care how much money a person has it is stupid to spend money like that its cheaper to get new cell phones. Help animals in need with money you have and stop being wasteful. I would never spend my money foolishly like this. Donate to shelters and the ASPCA they need the help.

I have nothing more to say about it except that if someone buys this, he should also be blamed for Global Warming. Don’t ask me why

Its not the scum that would buy this and other obscenely priced objects, it is the pond scum that make such articles and slap a price like that on them. the same is true of so called designer clothing which is made in Maylaysia or some other place. Workers are paid a dollar a day and then these criminals put prices that should land them in prison, on them. Free enterprise is fine but decency and fair play are out the window with these pigs. sixty bucks for a cotton sweatshirt that will shrink and fade just as one you got at a garage sale. There should be prosecutions and jail time for this kind of obscenity. It is to be hoped that Vertu goes broke by the end of the year.

What these MORONS don't seem to get, is that (most, I'm sure) people don't really give a damn about scratches on their phone (as much). It's whether their phone will still work, after the impact! We want WATERPROOF phones! We want phones with more than two inches of screen! We want a phone with an indestructible screen! I want a phone that only operates with (my) fingerprint recognition. Automatically shutting down, once a thief attempts to operate it. So, for fifteen PHUCKING thousand dollars, why aren't these features included!? Oh yea. I forgot. It's "extremely rugged surface". BLAH!!!!!
Any KUNT who buys this piece of shyt, is a TOTAL tool. Enough said.
