So they capped the 'leak' but again have failed to come up with a contingency plan for high pressures and new seeps on the ocean floor around the well-head. Meanwhile, ideas like those from SeaOilSalvage, sit on the sidelines instead of being put to immediate use. The long term problems and lack of foresight by the offshore oil industry and the federal government will plague the gulf coast for years. Stopping drilling is not the answer...thinking outside the box and utilizing new ideas is the way forward.
