New management, no sexy skin at Mandalay Bay

The peaks will now be capped, so to speak, at the Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Once one of the adults-only pools in Sin City where ladies could sunbathe sans top, a new sheriff in town has forced some modesty on the facility.

Across the country, frat boys and men married more than five years groaned. There are no reports of a letter-writing campaign, though.

The use of celebrity hosts for special events, has forced the club to make a decision, since local ordinances prohibit (certain) uncovered skin at big parties. Ironically, Kendra Wilkinson is among the hosts. She's known for frolicking with Hugh Hefner The Girls Next Door. So, of course, she should be kept as far as possible from the scandalous sights of topless pools.

Sounds like you are the one that needs a life. Why not let people do what they want dress,(or undress) as they see fit. These beaches and resorts are set up for people that want it, if you are not into that go some place else and let them be!!!!!!!!

Cannes, France has a topless beach and nobody thinks anything of it. Doesn't everyone know that women have breasts? When Janet Jackson had her wardrobe malfunction, I happened to be in Germany at the time, and the news media there were laughing at the Americans for getting all bent out of shape over it. They viewed us as hypocritical. After all, we, as a nation, consume more pornography than any other. I think Las Vegas used to serve a need, as an adult recreational tourist spot. If you don't want the kiddies to see titties, go to one of the tourist destinations designed for breeders, like Disney World. If you see yourself destined to be a saint, you should be in church, not strolling pool-side in Vegas.

I agree with you. I live in Las Vegas and this place is know for being an adult playground. It aggravates me to no end to see families come here with their young children (OH WHAT FUN THIS MUST BE) lugging your tired sleeping kids out on the strip at 1 or 2 in the morning. LAS VEGAS IS NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE (STRIP)
they complain about their kids seeing the smut cards on the strip or in the paper racks, the prostitutes. Well you know what if you do not want to have your kids see that stuff don't bring them here period.. Like you said take them to Disney Land or Disney World place like that which cater to families with kids!!!!!

I just have to say it. Ever been to a topples or nude beach? Most of the people there shouldn't be there. Most are old flabby men and women. Not at all what I was hoping for. I'm not a perv. but I was excited to be going to a Nude beach, but OMG what a let down. I jumped out of the jeep and walked down to the beach. with my bag and chair in hand. Was just getting ready to take it all off and bam it hit me I looked around and ewwwwwwwwwwwww. Yea Yea Yea I get it large people need a place that they can go and be nude. But honestly I don't want to see it...... Or NOT SEE It if you catch my drift. Still looking for a nice beach that has some attractions to look at.

Secret Cove on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe.
But that was years ago and the long hike down to the lake kept the old "saggy" types away.
Was it worth it?

Living in Europe, i'd forgotten how partial nudity is still view as immodest in the US.

I work in Nice in the South of France, and every lunchtime a group of us eat lunch on the beach. In the summer many of my french co-workers will immeadiatly take off their business suits and strip down to their underwear - not bikinis, shorts, or swimsuits - but just bra and panties, and sometimes topless, then sit and talk as if it were the most natural thing to do. Sometimes continuing the business meeting we were having before lunch.

Why is it that a woman must be fat and home alone eating ring dings to have an opinion about topless pools?

Can you imagine the reaction of men if we women had a bottomless, adult only pool for guys to walk around with their ding a lings chillin out? I can only imagine the groans and complaints from guys who's wives want to stay at a place where men are equally exposed. I say give us what society gives men.

What foolishness on the part of the new management of the Madalay Bay. Were underage kids being allowed in? Nope. Were they promoting prostitution or lewd sex acts? Nope. There a literally thousands of topless beaches throughout the world that people enjoy visiting. A number of years ago I was walking along the shores of the Danube River in Vienna Austria, only to notice that women of all ages were topless. It was no different than strolling any public beech in this country. If I want to view breasts, I can go to any strip club in town, or simply look at them on numerous websites on this silly computer. Get a life Madalay Bay! No one cares. Oh, by the way, I'm a conservative Republican voter too! Topless bathing sites are the very least of my worries for this country.

IT WAS THE CITY ORDINENCE ABOUT THE CELEBS SHOWING UP AND THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED AT THE POOL...SO YOU CAN THANK THOSE CELEBS FOR RUINING IT FOR YOU WITH THEIR MONEY MAKING APPEARENCES NOT ANYONE ELSE...BTW MAYBE IF WE AS AMERICANS LOOKED BETTER NAKED IT WOULD BE LIKE THE SOUTH OF FRANCE AND WE COULD RUN AROUND THAT WAY WITHOUT ALL THE BS COMMENTS...AFTERALL AS A WHOLE WE ARE THE FATTEST MOST UNHEALTHY COUNTRY,AND I KNOW THEIR ARE PEOPLE I JUST DON'T WANT TO SEE NAKED....
