On Friday, the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens it doors to the public. As part of the opening celebration, we received a gorgeous boxed wand, along with a few other goodies.
To celebrate the opening, we are giving one lucky reader the chance to win the wand - you'll need to be a die-hard Harry Potter fan, because this is a very special limited edition prize.
To enter, just tell us in the comments how thrilled you are that the park is finally open - it could be a one word shout-out, or a long essay on how long you waited to finally be able to visit the new park.

My girlfriend and I are so excited for the park to finally be open that we're planning a full week-long pilgrimage down to Orlando this Fall!
Also, she already has a wand. Our duels up to this point have been lopsidedly one-sided and annoying.

Finally a reason to go to leave the Disney bubble and go to Universal. I can't wait to get there in October.
I am a diehard Harry Potter fan and have traveled to London to ride on the actual Hogwarts Express used in the movies. It will be fun to sit in the Hogshead and enjoy some butterbeer and get a chocolate frog from Honeydukes.

Not ashamed to admit I am a 30-year-old Harry Potter fan! (well, maybe a little ashamed). Love the books and the movies, and from what I've seen, this park is the real deal. I can't wait to visit and be submerged into that world. But don't let me enter unarmed! I need a wand. ;)

As a travel agent, I have been hearing about Harry Potter at Universal for over a year!! Usually I get bored with telling clients the same information about the same parks, but with Harry Potter I am super excited and cant wait to go too!!! I am also sad that I ran out of my Universal Harry Potter Post-it notes!! :-( This wand would make up for it though!! :-)

I have been waiting since the first day the concept was announced several years ago. Diligently following all the news surrounding it and CANNOT wait to finally step foot inside my favorite novel(s) come to life! November 19, 2010! HERE I COME -- in honor of the 1st part of the last movie opening, I'll be at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter =O)

CANNOT WAIT TO GO THERE. My fiancee is completely not into Harry and doesn't get it. It's going to be a fight over whether we can take any time away from our future Disney trip to go see the Wizarding world.

After so many midnight release parties (books AND movies), it's a pleasure to be able to stay up to midnight in anticipation of yet another bit of the Harry Potter world. I grew up with Harry Potter (just a year or two older at the start), and it's terrific to know I don't have to give up new adventures in the HP world just yet!

I was looking forward to the new King Kong 3D attraction at the Hollywood location, but Harry Potter takes the cake any day. LA to Orlando is quite a long trip, but not without the help of the wand!

I have been waiting since I was 11 to receive my acceptance letter, but I realized that Hogwarts is actually based in Britain. Fast-forward to today, finally, I will be able to visit the theme park as if I am a student of Hogwarts school of wizardry and witchcraft.
