My grad is the best because he worked hard to put himself through school and maintained a high grade average as well. He's very special to us all.

My dad is the best. He taught me to be honest and dependable. He taught me to play fair and think for myself. He always told me that someone has to be the leader so it might as well be me.

My dad is the best, because even though he's suffered over 10 mini-strokes that have debilitated him, he's still a lot of fun and I enjoy being with him.

I think my dad is the best because he is the one reason I was able to be a grad myself in the first place - when I was applying to college, he told me from the start that I should go wherever I wanted and he would do whatever he had to do to send me there. He's worked his fingers to the bone his entire life to provide for his family, while at the same time providing a role model of intelligence, strength, and compassion, a rare combination indeed. Thanks for the chance to give him back a small token of my appreciation!

My dad is the best in the world because he has always been there for me, no matter what. He's my best friend and the greatest dad a girl could ask for.

Mine is the ultimate Dad because at almost 80 he is helping (a lot) to raise a third generation. He's outside in the back yard almost every day playing basketball, soccer and baseball with a six year old.

My grad is the best in the world because even though we were unable to help him financially, he put himself through school with honors, and we couldn't be more proud.
Sue Ellison Jun 12th 2010 2:29PM
My grad is the best in the world because even though he has a learning disability, he tries his hardest. I received nothing but compliments and praises from his teachers. They are so proud of his determination and I am too. Seeing him walk across the stage last week to receive his diploma was a dream come true. His friends rallied around him in congratulations and to top it off, he won the "Most Courteous" honor which was voted on by his peers.

My father is the most intelligent man I have ever known. He is the reason I never stop learning, seeking out opportunities to gain knowledge. He fostered this thirst for education along with a strong will to be independent and responsible. He is an amazing man. :-) Thank you.

My son is the best grad in the world. He started playing sports when he was in elementary school. So he grew up believing that he would go to college and play basketball. During his Junior year of high school he realized it was more important to concentrate on academics. Because of his hard work he got a scholarship to Auburn University. Since we live in Florida it will be much more expensive to attend Auburn but after getting accepted his recognized what a great Engineering school it is and has decided to put in the work to find scholarships to cover the extra cost. While most of his basketball teammates a chasing the basketball dream he had his plans in motion shortly after starting his senior year. He has always been a great student and never has talked back to his parents. He plans to come back to his middle school in the future and encourage kids to take Math and Science courses and explore the engineering field.
