Brits are worst-dressed tourists in Europe
When it comes to dressing horribly, the British are the best of the worst. According to a survey conducted by TripAdvisor, Brits are the worst-dressed tourists roaming the Continent. According to the Telegraph, the Germans and Americans are next in line when it comes to fashion-challenged tourists. The survey covered several other topics, as well. The French may be well-dressed, but they are the worst when it comes to checking their emails while they are traveling. 93% of Britons make an attempt to speak the local language while on holiday while 20% of French travelers admitted to making no attempt to do the same.
76% of those poorly-dressed Brits plan to take a summer vacation this year.
A TripAdvisor spokesperson said, ''Despite airline strikes, an uncertain economy and an erupting volcano, it's reassuring to see British travellers recognising the importance of a summer holiday again.'' It's just a shame that they're doing so in such horrible outfits.

An important new survey shows that people rate TripAdvisor Surveys the most annoying and pathetic pieces of self-promotion ever.
"There are so many of these stupid, pointless TripAdvisor surveys that I want to put my fist through the computer screen every time someone gives them webspace", said a spokesperson for people fed up to the back teeth with the rubbish peddled by TripAdvisor.

I actually think it's "useful advise" when traveling. And I don't agree that the Brits are the worse dressed - It's the Americans! I travel to Europe often and I can spot an American from a "kilometer" away! We like to wear our YARD CLOTHES! T-shirts representing company logos (ex) WAL-MART, SMITH-KLINE, BOB'S CHKN PLANT etc.. or t-shirts representing universities (ex) UNIV of VA, TX STATE, UNIV of IOWA etc... We have an obsession with our flip-flops or BIG WHITE SNEAKERS! As consumers, American spend billions yearly on shopping! What the heck or we buying?! Because we sure as H#@!! are not dressing our best abroad!

Heya,
I have to disagree. I am an American living in Europe and no matter what, the Germans are the worst dressed people - tourist or not. Americans are only bad if they're on a short vacation, but Germans dress terribly ALL the time, plus, they smell.
Aber, ich liebe Deutschland, wirklich!

Jeans and t-shirts are standard wear for the majority of people in France - not sure why that's considered 'chic' for them but not for everbody else!

Americans may not dress Gucci European, but they do use deodorant and women shave their armpits. They also usually have nice teeth. That is more than can be said for รก large portion of Europeans. Why don't they "put their money where their mouth is" an buy deodorant? You can tell that there are some Europeans at Disney just by the smell. In this day and age there is no excuse for personal poor hygiene.

I will say that here in Florida, you can usually spot the English by their clothing, or lack thereof... perhaps it's the god-awful heat here that they're not used to... oh well, no one ever said traveling was a fashon contest... who really cares what they wear anyway? They're very nice people...

Dutch, polite but cheap.
Scandinnavians, nice and polite.
British, easy to deal with and polite, except people from London who think the are

Spanish, never have enough money.
Israel. worst reputation, angry, rude, ugly to deal with.
Canadian, Aussies, Kiwis, cool, polite.
