Get your third night in Paris Free
Make 2010 the year you go to Paris. For most of the year, you can stay at the Hotel Beauchamps, in the 8th Arrondissement, and get your third night free. Over your three-night stay, you'll save an average of 92 euro a night, which can certainly get you started at many of the city's fantastic restaurants. The Hotel Beauchamps is an interesting property, not far from the Champs Elysées and located between Rue du Faubourg St Honoré and Montaigne Avenue. If you have a jones for shopping, especially, this is the place to be. The intimate hotel has only 89 rooms on six floors, all of which have views onto Rue de Ponthieu, Rue Du Colisée or the courtyard.

We just returned from a week in Paris at this hotel. The hotel was obviously newly renovated and very modern. The staff were exceedingly helpful, even booking our requested restaurants prior to our arrival. We had booked a superior room, which was very clean and comfortable. Our bathroom was also clearly new, with modern appliances.

Hotel Beauchamp is an excellent hotel and I am glad that someone else has already mentioned that he got full satisfaction from this hotel. The area of Champs Elysees is full of excellent hotel that can provide excellent stay in different atmosphere and ambiance.
I like also particularly the newly renovated Hotel des Champs Elyees, rue d'Artois, for its decoration that is a mix of Art Deco and Design. My room was one of the most expensive of the hotel on the top floor; very large with a balneo (believe me, that was exquisite!), greywish tones in the room, impressive bedhead, funny lights control from the bed of all room lights, comfort is really top and cleanliness is faultless: http://www.champselysees-paris-hotel.com/ And friendly front desk staff that kill the cliche of rude french people.
I have experienced also great pleasure at Hotel Franklin Roosevelt in the golden triangle; amazing little cosy hotel with a very classic french and I'd say english old style but so pleasant. I love their red salon and bar with true leather sofas, wooden panels on the walls and heavy curtains that make the room so intimate. Room was not that big but that's Paris, decoration is very classic, bed are impeccable and comfortable. Bathroom made of marble is top. I had also great time with the girls at the reception that take their time to answer me of all my questions and have a good sense of conversation. I remember having laughed with them like friends and that make my stay even more pleasant: http://www.paris-hotel-roosevelt.com/

Traveling can be fun and wonderful but often times we get discouraged by hotel rates, air fare and cost of food. Anything that would lessen travel expenses is a great news. A free night in Paris in your third day could really make your vacation time and money worth it.

Literary agent Bill Clegg's new memoir, "Portrait of an Addict as a Young Man," comes out today, June 7, and offers a fascinating look into the life of a crack addict who doubles as a successful agent. Here, from the cutting room floor, is an exclusive unused excerpt about Clegg's exploits on the streets of Paris.
