So what is so great about Oregon beaches? Well one thing you might not know is that Oregon beaches are publically owned. That means you can walk on Oregon beaches from one end of the state to the other. With the exception of Little Whale Cove (about 1/4 of a mile long) the State of Oregon owns those beaches and there are no private beaches. Thank you former Governor Tom McCall. Also there is NO SALES TAX IN OREGON !!!
