The Alabama shoreline is wonderful this time of year, the fragrance of aromatic hydrocarbons is in the air,and for the beachcombers who collect dead fish and tarballs, this is the place to be for your vacation experience.

Rick, my family just left the best beach in the world Orange Beach Ala...pure white sand laid back water crystal clean....if the oil spill wasn't on the news you would never known anything had happened.I stayed in Hawaii 4 yrs ago and said to more than one of the tourist.."I must be crazy to fly 10 hours when the most beautiful beaches are just 60 miles from my house"..No effect from the spill here yet and it maybe heartbreaking for our kids and grandkids are dealt the hand of paradise ruined..and for you to be so crass in your statement shows in the very least a lack of compassion of the situation and at worst a lack of intelligence of just how trajic this event could be.....please rethink your comments and America come on down to Sweet Home Alabama you will be glad you did!!!
