Wow, that's pretty neat! It looks great.

I disagree! Who gave Southwest the authority to use Florida’s State Seal? This is equivalent to the state endorsing the airline.

Don't get yourself all worked up over this Clipsinite - the airline wouldn't have gone to such great length as to repaint an entire aircraft if it wasn't perfectly legal for them to do so. I live in Florida and can assure you our state can use all the free travel/tourism publicity it gets, given its troubled economic condition!

As long as she stay in the air and on schedule, you need to chill. The plane looks great. As a Florida native, I'd enjoy the ride!

Why do you care? Your not losing money on the deal! What are you a lawyer looking to sue?

Great! When are they going to serve Sarasota-Bradenton -- a great need here to get around the state without driving to TPA

That paint job inspires about as much confidence as a plane that says, "HOOTERS".
Brian Apr 26th 2010 7:16PM
A big consideration is the weight all that paint adds, and it does add up.
Smartest paint job? American
Heaviest? At the time it had to be Braniff with their wild paint schemes.

It's just a giant sticker. It is not painted on.
Scott Carmichael Apr 27th 2010 10:45AM
If you watch the movie, you can clearly see them painting it - no stickers involved.
Donny Apr 26th 2010 7:40PM
It would have been cheaper to make a giant sticker than to paint it on.
