Knott's Berry Farm adds chocolate and bacon to the funnel-cake menu
Chocolate. Bacon. Funnel cake. Three of my favorite things in the world. But is putting them all together too much of a good thing?Apparently not at Knott's Berry Farm, where chocolate bacon funnel cake is being added to the menu.
This over-the-top culinary concoction started where all good theme-park food trends do these days, on Twitter.
Meghan Gardner, a spokeswoman for Knott's Berry Farm, said that the park sent out a tweet asking followers what funnel cake toppings they would like to see added to the menu.
Chocolate and bacon was the winner. So, the Buena Park, Calif., theme park created a funnel cake drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with chopped bacon.
It was supposed to be a temporary item, Gardner said. But it proved so popular that the new snack has been added to the permanent menu at the park's Funnel Cake Kitchen.
Chocolate bacon funnel cakes sell for $8.

Are they trying to cut down on how many people fit into the rides?

Talk about health freaks coming out of the woodworks... Still, I think we have our own destiny in our own hands anyone can drink LARD anyday and everyday. I smoke drinks and a couch fixture. NOT!!! Yummy as it seems... I am just gross out with the muffin heads and the damn shirt is too short to cover the skin. Anyways.. I am not a health freak or a fatso. Mr M I do think you are right or they are doing an engineering stress test on the design of the rides, other than that they want to see a fat one hits the ground, espcially those with attitude. This is a silly joke comment, I just happen to run into this. No offense fat ones specially the one I just sat with on a United Airlines flight to L.A. who occupied part of my seat about 8 inches of it. They should really charge by a person's weight on flight tickets.

It is bad enough to be eating a funnel cake but to add chocolate and bacon to it is absolutely absurd. I think it is a great thing to eat junk food when visiting an amusement park but I think this is really over the top and disgustingly gross.

Sounds good. Also it might be something my Grandmother may have made. She used bacon and bacon fat for everything, even in salad dressings. She lived to be almost 100!!

this confirms my belief that most theme parks are a fat persons paridise,
Frist theres usally a rail service as to not get any exercise, then it got to stop at every corn dog, funnel cake, ice cream, pizza, joints with out tasting them all,
Second they can hit the many massage places to have there fat smelly feet rubbed
Third they most all cannot hold or get a job because of there so called disability
to which the goverment see as reason to give them social security and the state now says here food stamps to help you .
bottom line there eating steaks, salomon, bacon, beef for free and most of us have to struggle for with our sweat, so if I die I want to come back as a fat overweight person
