As a photographer, I'm looking forward to the possibilities for photo downloads, processing and presentation (I'll have to go check out the Camera Kit you mentioned!).
I also own a Kindle, and the first thing I noticed when picking up an iPad was how heavy it seemed... this obviously due to the fact that I'm used to holding the very light Kindle. It also became pretty apparent to me that my eyes would not take to reading books for long periods on the iPad's screen, compared to the easy-on-the-eyes eInk screen of the Kindle.
However, I see the iPad as a great companion piece to the Kindle, especially since it has a Kindle app. The Kindle can always remain my home-based "library" and if space it tight I can take an iPad on the road as my all-in-one travel companion. I'll continue to love and use the Kindle, but an iPad is definitely in my future.
