When I was leaving Hawaii they asked for passengers to volunteer to get off the plane because it had to do with the humidity and to get proper lift. What concerned me was that 3 very tiny Asian women got off the plane. I was thinking that the weight of 3 or 4 golf bags would have been better, because the women couldn't have weighed more than a hundred pounds at most.
We managed to take off and land without incident. :-)

Good point! Since the FAA allows for average weights, those three tiny passengers represented almost 600 pounds of savings.
