Great read, thank you for sharing. I gave a ride to a guy once in college. It was in the mountains of Colorado, there were 3 of us in the car and it was cold and dark out. He looked miserable. As soon as he got into the car, he started ranting about not wanting to go back to jail and we had better not drive there. He ranted all the way out the mountain where we kicked him out at the first convenience store. He was obviously drugged out. Sad really but lesson learned. No hitch hikers ever again.
