Hello, we are planning a trip in the next few weeks. Very excited. Just a question do you think it is possible to rent a car without a driver? We live in Africa, so we know how to drive a 4 x 4 and extremely bad roads. I just do not seem to find any agencies that rent cars without a driver. Is this for a special reason? Or am I looking in the wrong place?
Thank you

I didn't really research this issue, but from what I heard rental agencies generally don't hire cars to nonresidents without a driver. This is due to liability/theft. Keep looking, though, because there might be an exception to the rule. We wanted a driver because I needed a translator for my work.
