This photo (click to enlarge) from Flickr user chris_nevins shows a plane being de-iced on a cold morning in Salt Lake City. It's easy to forget all the things that must happen behind the scenes in order to keep our flights safe, smooth, and on time. Fortunately there are photos like this to remind us of what we often take for granted.

Great use of HDR processing - emphasizes the details without being overdone.
