Tiger farms are a huge conservation problem. They advocate legalizing the trade in tiger parts. This could have huge effects on wild tiger populations because it will provide a legal market where poached tigers can be laundered. There are NO south China tigers left in the wild and the runts in captivity are inbred and fewer than 12 have not been crossed with Siberian tigers. The only tigers in China are those that stray across the border from Russia and Myanmar, and their prospects for survival are low, as they will be poached to supply China's illegal demand for use of this species in traditional Chinese medicine. These businesses should not be supported with your $$ if you care about wild tiger conservation.
