New Englanders are all too familiar with this scene - the white house filled with history and an American flag waving proudly in the front yard, saluting the people of the town it calls home. But what's great about New England is its ability to merge old with new, as seen in this photo by malaycobra. The appropriately titled "Technology Meets History" shows a crane erecting a wind turbine in the background of one of New England's historical homes.
