I have written travel journals from every vacation I have ever taken. Much to my surprise, they are hilarious ! They get funnier the longer I wait to read them. Stupid fights I've had with my hubby, awful food, and places I loved remind me how much I yearn to travel. And, no, some days I did not feel like writing, just said, "another day in paradise" describing a major thunderstorm to somebody from California was really funny. Aways good for a laugh was describing all the mystery food I triedl. I am glad that I wrote and kept those journals. They are for my use only and when I read them to my husband he tells me he would have forgotten everything I had in those diaries. Keeping a travel diary is a MUST.
